My experience in translation began with translating literary texts from Spanish into English for university professors to use as material in their classes. Since then, I have interpreted for Spanish speaking refugees in the U.S., interned and translated foreign government documents for internal use in the U.S. Department of State, and currently serve as a member of the United States National Language Service Corps for the U.S. Department of Defense. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Spanish, a certificate in translation, and a minor in clarinet performance. I am currently studying a Master of Arts in Translation studies at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain. I love what I do, and I am eager to continue developing my profile in this field.
