Source text - English Crooked Spider is a small-scale brewery originating in Wassenaar, with a passion to brew artisanal beers of high quality.
All beers find their inspiration in different parts of the world.
Crooked Spider was set up by Niels Beekhuizen whose interest in brewing beer has grown to a true passion during his studies Process & Food Technology.
After winning a prize at the Dutch Championship for amateur brewers the decision was made to make Crooked Spider beers commercially available.
Crooked Spider has been brewing on a small scale since October 2014.
Our prizewinning beers are available throughout The Netherlands but mostly around our hometown Wassenaar.

Brewing great international craft beer inspired by every nation.
Crooked Spider aspires to brew tasty beers which find their inspiration in different parts of the world. We do this by either recreating beer styles that are tied to certain locations, or by introducing flavors to the beer which will make you believe you are in that place.
Since the start of our brewery we have released many beers, some only on bottles, and some only on kegs. Apart from our regular and seasonal beers, we also brew some beers for only one time.

Translation - German Crooked Spider ist eine kleine Craftbier-Brauerei in Wassenaar. Wir brauen mit Leidenschaft und Sachverstand authentische Biere von höchster Qualität. Die Anregungen dafür holen wir uns aus allen Teilen der Welt.
Crooked Spider wurde von Niels Beekhuizen gegründet, als er Process & Food Technology studierte. Was als Hobby begann, ist für ihn mittlerweile zu einer echten Passion geworden. Nachdem er bei den offenen Niederländischen Amateur-Braumeisterschaften mit seinem Bier einen Preis gewonnen hatte, entschied er sich, seine Leidenschaft zum Beruf zu machen. Das Label Crooked Spider wurde geboren.
Seit 2014 braut und vertreibt Crooked Spider besondere Craftbiere. Diese preisgekrönten Biere sind in Supermärkten, Restaurants und Bars in den gesamten Niederlanden erhältlich, aber natürlich findest du sie besonders häufig rund um Wassenaar.
Internationale Craftbiere mit nationaler Inspiration
Bei Crooked Spider brauen wir außergewöhnliche Craftbiere, für die wir uns aus allen Teilen der Bierwelt inspirieren lassen. Wir nehmen die Tradition verschiedener Länder auf und kreieren Aromen, die dich schon beim ersten Schluck in die Ferne mitnehmen. Mit einem unserer Biere im Glas kannst du um den Globus reisen, ohne dich vom Fleck zu bewegen.
Von Anfang an haben wir sowohl Flaschenbiere als auch Fassbiere hergestellt. Neben unserem festen, saisongebundenen Sortiment brauen wir auch Spezialbiere zu besonderen Anlässen wie Geburtstagen oder Hochzeiten.
