I am a Translation major graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), who has a strong command of written Chinese and English and considerable experience in professional translation.
I have been taking plenty of opportunities to improve and polish my language and translation skills. I have been working at a patent firm as a translator, where I translated legal documents for patent application from English to Chinese and vice versa. During my university years, I worked as a research assistant at CUHK Department of Translation and translated research papers for teaching staff. Recently, I worked on a subtitle translation project for Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, a local non-government organization. These working experiences show that I am capable of providing a high-quality translation of a wide variety of texts.
I am a diligent, responsible and self-disciplined person, as reflected by my academic achievements in university. I had been placed on the Dean’s list for three consecutive years, received several prizes for my academic excellence and graduated with First Class Honors. Please refer to my CV for more of my achievements.
