I was born and raised in Panama City, Republic of Panama. I attended Colegio Episcopal de Panamá, a bilingual school, from 1977 to 1989. English and French were my favorite subjects in school, especially English literature during 11th and 12th grade. I attended Universidad Santa María la Antigua University, where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
I worked as a clerk in the Panama Canal Commission in a bilingual environment, for 12 years. I began working as freelance translator in 1999 after I obtained a certification from Panama’s Ministry of Education.
I enjoy learning new things, attenting conferences and networking.
