A word is not merely a unit of language; it is a character that conveys messages of love, rage, anguish, and melancholy. A word is an act of mutiny; it is astounding how one’s own word can effortlessly go against them; the way it can rebel on baffled paper or straight from one’s own damned lips. A word can transport one into other dimensions; in one instant, you could be transported to the Louvre and find yourself deciphering the secret behind the Mona Lisa smile. In one instant, you could be humming along with chords sung generously right in the streets of Rome. In one instant, you could be this conjurer who can vigorously bring spirits of the past and ask them about World War I.

By these means, a word is a powerful tool; thus, translation is not merely “the process of translating words or texts from one language into another”; it actually requires an intimate knowledge of both languages and their cultures involved. It gives you the opportunity to tease authentic ideas out of one language and aesthetically weave them into another.

Moreover, I enjoy writing and editing because I am in love with the idea of being indulged with semantics, where I can swim in an ocean of vocabulary and feel the waves that plunge into each word; the idea of being immersed with syntax; 'words' makes the idea of global communication possible.

Every person has a weak point; however, my weakness lies in my strength. I am a perfectionist; it makes me strong in that I do not miss any fracture of detail and I do not accept any standard short of perfection. It makes me strong in that never have I failed to achieve my objectives on time regardless of pressure and environment. Conversely, it deviates into weakness as I end up being too hard on myself; whatever I do, there’s always something bigger to strive for.

My skills include:

-Translating texts from English to Arabic and vice versa (academic, technical, literary, and legal translation).
-Editing texts in the above-mentioned languages, such as academic, technical, and legal texts, in addition to blogs and websites.
-Creative writing and content development.

Please feel free to check my education and work experience, and if you have any inquires or whatsoever please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you
