Bio

Having my bachelor’s degree from the Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Bryusov English-Spanish department (May,2009) and my master's degree from the American University of Armenia, Political science and International Affairs department (June,2011) gave me high level of proficiency and mastery in those fields.

My final GPA of graduation was 3.65.

I have been working as a translator since I was at my 3rd year at the University. I worked as a freelance translator/interpreter. I also have been teaching students for English individually.

After graduation I have worked in several companies as a translator/Interpreter. At my last workplace (Document Controls Specialist in a Construction firm) as well as in my current position (Interdepartmental Coordinator/HR Manager) I have also been doing translation work as a part of my responsibilities, being that oral interpretations of the meetings, or written documentation, business communication translations(In English, Russian and Armenian Languages).

The opportunity to work as a freelancer is very interesting, and I believe that my previous successful experience, as well as my education will make me a very competitive candidate in this job market. I enjoy the challenges and responsibility involved in the work. I have an experience of working as an office manager, translator, manager of international relations and as a document controls specialist, and currently department coordinator doing basically HR job. At all those positions I have done a lot of administrative work, organizational and coordinating activities, I acted as a personal assistant for the director and my direct construction supervisor at my last job. I was organizing meetings with partners, documentation, agenda, minutes for those meetings, and providing translation for them at the meetings from English into Armenian or Russian or vice versa.I have high sense of responsibility, accuracy and punctuality.

The studies in AUA of courses like Organizational Behavior, Public Administration, Budgeting, Macro and Micro Economics, Diplomacy and Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, made it much easier for me to deal with my responsibilities.

Having understanding in all those fields as well as in project management, will make it easy for me to do translation/interpretation jobs in various spheres.
