I have been related to the field of translation for more than 10 years. Owing to my work
experience in a variety of professional settings and my wide-ranging personal interests,
I have gained knowledge of the terminology and conventional styles in many sectors.
While traveling with company’s “KBAU” executives abroad to serve as a translator and
executive assistant, I have gathered experience in business interpreting.
I have spent 4 years living in Scotland and Germany. While abroad I learned that in every
culture people have different customs and unique traditions; realizing this has led me to a
greater cultural intelligence. I now feel confident working with people from any culture or
value system and am able to focus on the project at hand, seeing positive impact from our differences. During my stay in Germany I improved my German language skills which
allowed me to integrate better into the local culture. Owing to my experience I have
developed patience, determination as well as linguistic and mental agility.
