Alex and Nicola scrambled down the building. They rushed to a small bridge over a rushing river to meet their contact, Isidore Khujadze. They had previously talked to the man on the telephone. Nicola claimed to be Turkish, and Alex, a Russian smuggler. The men shook hands, got into a small, dilapidated car and headed to a small apartment in town. The planned transaction was to buy material worth more than its weight in gold: a few pounds of radioactive uranium, including some weapons-grade uranium-235. The material’s provenance was somewhat unclear, but Nicola and Alex had assured Isidore they didn’t care.
Jake followed the men at a distance in his rented SUV with a couple of ‘assets” on the back seat, Tess Turner and Galina Kutuzova, both dressed in dark military uniforms and carrying sniper rifles. When the men arrived in front of a dilapidated apartment building, Jake parked the car behind a small clump of trees. He used his binoculars and saw the three men entering the building. A minute later, someone turned on the light in an apartment on the second floor. Jake stealthily walked to the front of the building, but the two women stayed behind and hid behind trees. They started to calibrate the sights of the high-powered sniper rifles in their in hands. | Translation - Portuguese
Alex e Nicola desceram o prédio. Eles correram para uma pequena ponte sobre um rio apressado para encontrar seu contato, Isidore Khujadze. Eles já tinham conversado com o homem ao telefone. Nicola afirmou ser turco e Alex, um contrabandista russo. Os homens apertaram as mãos, entraram em um pequeno carro em ruínas e foram para um pequeno apartamento na cidade.
