I was born in Brazil, and therefore Portuguese is my native language, but since a very early age, I lived in several countries, where I spoke Spanish and English fluently. This was due to my father´s work for the United Nations. At the United Nations International School, I did the international baccalaureate, bilingual in Spanish and English. Later I studied at the London School of Economics. And I also studied at Universidade de São Paulo, where I started my PhD in Literature. I have around 35 years of experience as a translator and editing texts, and also as a Writing professor at university. I also have experience in other fields of work. And I am a writer and anthropologist. I have translated many topics, but I am most familiar with language in the Humanities.
