Since 2000, China’s gains against its informatization ambition have
been impressive. To illustrate the point, we can take five dimensions of
an information society as examples. In industry, from a very low (negligible) base three decades earlier, China was claiming by 2009 to have the biggest IT industry in the world and to be ranked first in production of many related items ( Jiang 2010). | Translation - Persian (Farsi)
از سال 2000، چین دستاوردهای چشمگیری در قبال جاه طلبی های اطلاعاتی خود بدست آورده است. برای نشان دادن این نکته، ما می توانیم پنج بُعد از جامعه ی اطلاعاتی را به عنوان مثال انتخاب کنیم: در صنعت، سه دهه پیش در حالی که چین صنعت ناچیزی داشت، ادعا کرد که تا سال 2009 بزرگترین صنعت فناوری اطلاعات را دارا خواهد بود و در تولید محصولات مرتبط با آن رتبه ی اول را کسب خواهد کرد (جیانگ 2010). |

None of us was allowed near the infirmary during the next days, but I heard all the rumors that came out of it. Eventually a fact emerged; it was one of his legs, which had been “shattered.” I couldn’t figure out exactly what this word meant, whether it meant broken in one or several places, cleanly or badly, and I didn’t ask. I learned no more, although the subject was discussed endlessly. Out of my hearing people must have talked of other things, but everyone talked about Phineas to me. I suppose this was only natural. طی روزهای آتی، هیچکس حق نزدیک شدن به درمانگاه را نداشت؛ اما شایعات جورواجور به گوشم می رسید. سرانجام، خبری موثق بیرون آمد؛ یکی از پاهایش «تَرَک» برداشته بود. اصلاً نمی دانستم ترک برداشتن یعنی چه، نمی دانستم از یک جا شکسته یا از چند جا، خوب است یا بد؛ البته سؤال هم نکردم. بیش از این هم چیزی نفهمیدم؛ هرچند که این رشته سرِ دراز داشت و مباحثه درباره‌ی آن پایانی نداشت. قطعاً مردم پشت سرم حرف های دیگری می زدند؛ اما جلوام فقط از فینیاس می¬گفتند. گمان کنم که طبیعی است. طبعاً در آن رخداد من کنارش و همچنین، من هم‌اتاقی اش بودم. |
