It all started when I was really young and tried to help my maternal grandparents to communicate with my paternal grandparents, since they spoke different languages (kind of, one language - one dialect). I was great, I must admit! My love for languages and communication flourished, and I started learning foreign languages since I was in primary school.
Later, I decided to study translation; and here I am now, with a Bachelor's and a Master in Translation from Ionian University, Greece. Two years ago, I wanted to see what happens behind the scenes, and I started working in Translation Project Management, which was an eye-opening experience. After one year, I became a PRINCE2 certified PM, and I use this knowledge and skills to expand my business as a freelancer and be able to offer better services to my clients.
My working experience in translation goes along with my working experience in sales and marketing mostly in the tourism sector, that is why I feel most creative when I work on projects related to retail, websites and marketing material. Another field I find fascinating is the translation of software, since it always provides us (the translators) with so many riddles that we cannot but try to solve them, it is in our nature, what can i say?
My purpose is to help you communicate your message and achieve your goals!
