I
am a native speaker of Portuguese, born in Brazil, and have moved to the United
States 27 years ago. I have learned English on the streets, on the job, and at
school. After overcoming my fears and uncertainties with the English Language,
I started putting my knowledge to use, working as a volunteer interpreter in
the community. Later on, I was hired as a translator for the City School
Department and am still working for them.

I
have a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and worked as an English
Teacher at various Language Schools.

I
have taken several language college classes including Language Arts, Latin, and
many levels of English literature.

As
a Bilingual, I enjoy my work very much and am very meticulous, striving to
deliver accurate and impeccable translations in a timely manner.
