Origin story:
A millennial and a chameleon: growing up as part of the first internet-generation, experiencing all the rapid changes, I can definitely say that I know what it's like to be a consumer - one that is targeted in the old-school way and one that is targeted today. This ensures that I can understand the consumer you are trying to target, using the tools of this day and age.
Having studied in the States (University of Vermont) and completing grad school in the Netherlands (Social Psychology and Women's Studies), I had the chance to quench (some of) my thirst for knowledge. This added to my (truly) understanding of marketing, whilst possessing a strong social and political awareness - especially when it comes to diversity.
During my time as an Account Manager at Treatwell.com, I worked with over 400+ entrepreneurs and business owners in the beauty industry. My job was to make sure that they were represented on our platform with a great look-to-book conversion rate, whilst staying true to their own brand. Working with so many diverse business owners, advice was always tailor-made to fit their wishes without losing out on how to best approach customers. Empathy, open-mindedness, and passion for the job were and still are my everyday keywords when working with clients.
