Translation - English This study investigates concave microlens films, a key component in localized 2D/3D switchable display lenticular lens technology. The experiment is carried out by the Roll-to-Roll technology in conjunction with a Taguchi Method experimental design to develop orthogonal table-planned experiment groups. Each group is subjected to forming machine for rolling and solidifying of microstructures. Geometric shapes of the finished products are measured and experimental data is evaluated and analyzed. Quality indicators are 2D/3D switchable display performance and the para bonding disposition of the panel. In order to satisfy the quality indicators, the size of the finished products should be accurate. Thus, the nominal-the-best (NTB) quality characteristic is adopted to measure the accuracy of four critical sizes in order to gain results that is consistent or close to specifications.
The experiment is divided into two stages. In the first stage, four sets of control factors and three standards is selected. Factor A is formation speed, factor B is ultraviolet power, factor C is winding/rewinding tension, and factor D is front/rear roller pressure. Without considering the Interaction among the factors, the L9 orthogonal table-planned experiment groups is analyzed to obtain the ideal process parameter combination (A3, B2, C1, D1) and the descending influence order of factor D, B, C, and A. In the second stage, the original process parameter combination (A2, B2, C2, D2) is compared with the ideal process parameter combination (A3, B2, C1, D1), and the obtained experimental data used to verify the SNR prediction is highly accurate.
Findings indicate that the ideal process parameter combination of the four critical sizes for the concave microlens films is increased compared with the original process combination. On average, the concave height increases by 0.04 μm, the concave interval increases by 0.02 μm, the concave radius curvature increases by 0.5 μm, and the concave thickness increases by 0.5 μm. Moreover, the four critical sizes prepared by the ideal process parameter combination achieve better consistency with specifications than that of the original process combination. Thus, the ideal combination meets the NTB quality characteristic and approximates the target values.

To minimize thermal distortion of the spindle head and eliminate Y- and Z-axis changes, we circulate coolant through an independent jacket in the head casting to remove heat generated by the spindle. Because the coolant touches all parts of the machining area, it accurately reflects the overall temperature of the machine, providing greater thermal stability.
For additional thermal stability, we’ve insulated the spindle head, and increased air flow through the assembly. Cool air enters from the rear of the machine, flows around the spindle, and exits at the top, away from the spindle head.
For customers wanting to add an aftermarket spindle chiller, a chiller-ready provision is available for VF-1 through VF-12 40-taper models.

Background of technique
Due to its outstanding molecular bonding properties, PTFE has excellent chemical stability, resistance to strong acids,strong base and corrosion of a variety of chemical products; it also has an extremely wide range of temperature resistance, and can be used for a long time in the temperature range of at -180 °C to 260 °C. The performance of other polymers is hard to compare with its, so it is called "The King of Plastic." Due to its good chemical stability, safety and non-toxicity, PTFE has a wide range of applications. Porous PTFE membranes is made from PTFE, and PTFE can be made into the outer layer fabrics or used as chemical filtration and insulation materials.
Porous PTFE membranes is prepared from PTFE by in turn, batching, pre-forming, extrusion, stretching, high temperature defatting, biaxial stretching and high temperature curing. In the process of theoretical research and specific experiments, people have realized that the raw materials are the key factors affecting quality index and technical performance for the finished products throughout the preparation. However, raw materials using existing technology are mostly composed of binary mixtures of PTFE and kerosene used as solvent, so the strength of the finished products, the uniform distribution of porous PTFE membrane, especially the yield is poor; the yield is generally less than 85%, and the cell size distribution of porous PTFE membrane is more than 0.5 microns. Chinese Patent Publication No. CN1392180A, entitled "Production Technology of Porous Polytetrafluoroethylene Membrane", provides a kind of raw material for producing Porous PTFE Membrane, which is ternary mixture composed of PTFE, solvent (No. 3 jet fuel) and dispersant (mixture of antistatic chromium alkyl hydroxide and calcium isooctylsulfonate succinate); in addition, owing to real-time online test and computer control of the production process, the products produced by this technology have higher quality indicators and technical performance than the one produced by existing binary mixture raw material.
