My native language is German and I am fluent in English. Later this summer I will graduate in Japanese Studies. During my studies I spent a lot of time doing language exchange with Japanese students and I also spent a semester abroad in Japan at Aichi Prefectural University.
I also hold a bachelor's degree in Horticultural Sciences. In this field I am particularly interested in organic farming and environmentally sustainable agriculture, but also in Science in general.
Through my work as a volunteer TED translator I was able to gain experience in translating and subtitling video content with the Amara-Editor.
At my university I worked as an academic assistant in the [j]Games project about Japanese video games and the corresponding companies, led by my professor. Through this work I was able to expand my knowledge of video games related vocabulary.
In addition I polished my German writing skills as a volunteer content creator at a Swiss video games website.
I am highly motivated and will always offer the best solution to every assignment. I am flexible, can quickly adapt to any situation and make sure to meet every deadline.
