Henri Fayol (1841-1925) remained comparatively unknown outside his native France for almost a quarter of a century after his death. That was until Constance Storrs published General and Industrial Management in 1949 which was a translation of his (unfinished) work. Fayol posthumously gained widespread recognition for his work on administrative management. Today he is often described as the founding father of the Administration School.		Translation - Portuguese
Henri Fayol (1841-1925) permaneceu relativamente desconhecido fora da França, seu país natal, por quase um quarto de século depois de sua morte. Isso foi até que Constance Storrs publicou seu livro "Gestão Geral e Industrial" em 1949, que foi uma tradução do seu trabalho (inacabado). Fayol ganhou, postumamente, amplo reconhecimento por seu trabalho na gestão administrativa. Hoje ele é frequentemente descrito como o pai fundador da Escola de Administração.
