ในยุคสารสนเทศหรือยุคแห่งข้อมูลนี้ การผลิตจะตั้งอยู่บนฐานของการรวบรวมข้อมูล เพื่อให้สามารถผลิตชิ้นงานได้อย่างเหมาะสมที่สุด ด้วยเหตุนี้เอง สิ่งที่ผู้ผลิตแต่ละรายจำเป็นต้องมี คือขุมข้อมูลของตน หรือโครงสร้างระบบคลาวด์สำหรับใช้ภายในบริษัท เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการผลิคของตนให้สูงขึ้น
ข้อมูลเหล่านี้จะส่งผลโดยตรงต่อการผลิต เนื่องจากเป็นปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับเครื่องจักร และระบบอัตโนมัติ ว่าจะสามารถทำงานได้ดีมากน้อยเพียงใด ซึ่งหากมีข้อมูลที่ดีแล้ว เครื่องจักรก็จะสามารถทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น ยกตัวอย่างเช่น หากเครื่องจักรเลือกใช้เครื่องมือที่เหมาะสมกับชิ้นงานได้เอง การผลิตก็จะรวดเร็วและตรงความต้องการขึ้นกว่าเดิม

In information technology age or data age, manufacturing is based on data collection to most suitably manufacture parts. Therefore, each manufacturer needs to have his own database or cloud system structure for internal use to raise manufacturing quality level.
These data will directly affect manufacturing since it is the factor related to how good machines and automatic system would operate. If the data is good, machines will be able to operate more efficiently. For example, if the machine is able to automatically choose proper tools for the part, manufacturing will be faster and more precise to the need than before.
The database is not limited to information from manual on how to set the machine for each material, but needs to have other detailed data including tool length, material type, rotational speed, coolant, even which process is used in each work. If there is a detailed data, the machine will be able to choose correctly on how to operate, which tools to use, etc. This will lead to more intelligent machines, resulting in reliable manufacturing process and can actually use. |
