I have always wanted to become an interpreter. I vividly remember the day when I fell in love with this profession: I was ten and as an old-movie lover, I was watching Charade, in which Audrey Hepburn's character works as a simultaneous translation. It's a very short frame but it was enough for me to decide that that was what I wanted to do. Thirty years later, I am a freelance conference interpreter and translator, and I never stopped loving this job.
