Source text - Indonesian Probolinggo merupakan sebuah kabupaten yang berada di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Selain terdapar Gunung Bromo, siapa sangka kalau Probolinggo juga memiliki surga tersembunyi bernama Danau Ranu Segaran. Letak Danau Ranu Segaran ini berada di lereng Gunung Argopuro. Jika ke Probolinggo, sempatkan untuk menikmati birunya Ranu Segaran.
Danau Ranu Segaran merupakan sebuah danau yang terbentuk dari aktivitas vulkanis. Sebelum menjadi danau, menurut warga sekitar dahulu danau ini adalah bekas sebuah kawah gunung nonaktif sampai akhirnya membentuk genangan air. Genangan air itulah yang sekarang menjadi Danau Ranu Segaran.

The Ranu Segaran lake was formed from the volcanic activities in the past days. People around the lake say that it was a crater of a nonactive volcano which form the puddle and grew bigger. The puddle of water now being the Ranu Segaran Lake.
