I began working as a freelance translator + interpreter in 2018, having completed my undergraduate degree at the Ghana Institute of Languages. I am currently doing my national service at the Headquarters of ALL-AFRICA STUDENTS UNION in Ghana as a translator and occasional interpreter as well as working with private clients. During my days in the Institute, I did in-class translations ranging from Medical, scientific, legal, economic, general and technical texts. Interpreting was no exception, all these helped contribute to my well-rounded education as I could learn new skills and experience different teaching styles. I am passionate about languages and communication and, as such, have worked in a variety of roles where I can use these skills including: the recent World Council Conference of International Young Catholic Students in Nigeria; a Spanish tutor (Spanish as Third Language). |
