Bio

I have a nursing background, with a relevant degree and some years of experience in the clinical setting.

After working in the healthcare setting for several years in the clinical and business operation environment, I entered the biomedical, biotechnical and pharmaceutical arena. Being effectively bilingual in Chinese and English, I often dealt with informed consent forms (ICFs) in both languages when I worked in the clinical research field.

I took a hiatus from the corporate environment after 20 years in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Since 2018, I've been translating Chinese web novels, news articles and news clips. I summarise the Chinese news reports in English for my clientele. 

I'm familiar with Simplified and Traditional Chinese; American, British and Singapore English.
