Early childhood trauma refers to adversity experienced in early childhood. This is the most critical developmental period in human life. Traumatic experiences in early childhood can lead to a variety of problems in later life, in a critical developmental period in a child’s life spanning from conception to the age of five. Childhood experiences, both positive and negative, have a tremendous impact on future violence victimization and perpetration, and lifelong health and opportunity. As such, early experiences are an important public health issue. Much of the foundational research in this area has been referred to as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).[1] | Translation - Arabic
يشير مصطلح صدمة الطفولة المبكرة إلى المِحَن التي يمر بها الطفل في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة. وهي الفترة النمائية الأكثر حرجا في حياة الإنسان. قد تؤدي التجارب المؤلمة في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة إلى العديد من المشكلات مع تقدم العمر، وذلك في الفترة النمائية الحرجة من حياة الطفل والتي تبدأ من الحمل حتى عمر خمس سنوات. ويكون لتجارب الطفولة، الإيجابية والسلبية، تأثير هائل على إمكانية الإيذاء وارتكاب أعمال العنف في المستقبل، كما تؤثر على الصحة والفرص المتاحة للفرد مدى الحياة. لذلك تعتبر التجارب المبكرة من قضايا الصحة العامة.و يشار إلى الكثير من البحوث الأساسية في هذا المجال باسم خبرات الطفولة الضارة (ACEs). |

The structuralist view of kinship was laid out in Lévi-Strauss' grand statement: Les Structures élémentaires de la parenté (The Elementary Structures of Kinship). In this, he combined Mauss' ideas about the importance of gifts in primitive societies with the role of the incest taboo in forcing exchanges of mates outside of closely related family groups. The resulting exchange of women is asymmetric in that men have power over women which is not reciprocated. The resulting social structures provide a framework for treating the oppression of women as a social construct rather than being a matter of biology.[2] | Translation - Arabic
قام "ليفي ستروس" بتحديد الفكر البِنيَوي للقرابة في دراسته الشاملة بعنوان (البُنى الأولية للقرابة) حيث جمع في هذه الدراسة بين أفكار "موس" عن أهمية الهدايا في المجتمعات البدائية ودور تحريم سفاح القربى في اللجوء إلى تبادل الأزواج من خارج المجموعات الأسرية التي تجمعها صلة قرابة وطيدة. يمتاز تبادل النساء الناتج بعدم التكافؤ حيث أن الرجال لديهم سلطة على النساء بينما لا تتمتع النساء بنفس السلطة. وتتيح البنية الاجتماعية الناتجة رؤية اضطهاد النساء بكونه تأسيس اجتماعي عوضا عن كونه واقع بيولوجي. |
