I was born in Brazil and my native language is Portuguese. As a child, I enjoyed learning about and exploring languages and books. My mother got her degree in Letters, and my linguistic interests was always encouraged in home. I learned the basics of English (grammar and conversation) at school, but it was as a self-taught, willing to read texts in their original language and to communicate with people around the world that I developed my learning in English and Spanish. I graduated in philosophy from UNESP in 2011 and received a masters degree in philosophy from UFSCar in 2014. In my academic career I studied foreign texts mainly in English, French and Spanish. I wrote my master's dissertation on French philosopher Henri Bergson, and all the French quotes used in the dissertation were translated by me, as well as the English quotes. In the first semester of 2015, I worked as a Portuguese teacher at Colégio Oliveira Netto, in Cunha-SP, teaching classes for all elementary school years, where I taught Portuguese syntax, morphology, text interpretation and writing. Since 2015 I have been translating, for my own study and without official publications, English materials that do not yet have Portuguese translation: books, booklets and book chapters. These translations are about spirituality in general, self-improvement and human development, and nutrition. As a translator, I work with the following language pairs: English / Portuguese, Portuguese / English, Spanish / Portuguese. I also work as a Portuguese editor. I have experience in the areas of humanities in general, philosophy, anthropology, social sciences, psychology and education. I will be very happy to help you realize your project!
