Bio
I have started my translation career during my studies at the University of Zadar. I am currently finishing my last year of English Language and Literature (focus: Literary Translation) and Education Sciences (Pedagogy) studies. Aside from college obligations, I have been outsourced for the last two years (2018 and 2019 edition) by a major Croatian festival of design - Zagreb Design Week - to translate press materials, e-mail correspondence with partner countries, and the annual catalog of Croatian design that entails artist profiles, artwork descriptions, and information about the festival itself. In 2019, I have also been hired by a Croatian publishing house Fraktura to translate, from Croatian to English, an excerpt from a book (approx. 40 pages) by an up-and-coming Croatian author that will be used for promotional activities and pitching the novel to foreign publishers. Aside from Zagreb Design Week, I have also been outsourced by Art Zagreb 2019 to translate the festival's web page (general info, application form etc.) to English due to a large number of international applicants and partakers. Currently, I am writing Master Theses for both of my study courses and translating a soon-to-be-published anthology of short stories and essays.
