I am an Australian who has been studying Japanese for ten years and is now living in the Kansai region of Japan. I studied international relations and languages, with a major in Japanese and a minor in Mandarin Chinese and history. I have experience translating websites for tourism facilities, speeches, articles and flyers. My passion is the written word, extending to novels and short stories, as well as online articles and blog posts.

I enjoy writing about and translating tourism, culture and history-related topics. I have a particular interest in sustainability and regional revitalisation in Japan.
