- 2,5 years of working at the US Diplomatic Mission in Ukraine (USAID). Except for my main administrative activities at the Executive Office, I was accompanying US diplomats in
a number of trips within Ukraine to provide consecutive translation (president
elections; site visits to coordinate Mission’s projects work; developing
connections with local governments). - 3 years of working at the UK Visa Application Centre. Except for managing the operations of the Customer Support Unit, I was engaged with the translation of the Visa Application Center website from
English to Ukrainian. The website contained plenty of guidance on visa
application processes, additional services the Center was providing, terms and
conditions, ect. - 1 year of working at the Tourism agency, where I made numbers
of translations (~ 15 translations per day in addition to regular daily tasks)
of the documents that are usually requested by the Embassies. Those included
birth, marriage, death, divorce certificates; employment certificates; diplomas
and appendixes; notary certificates; purchase and sale agreements; ownership
documents etc. - To add to that, I also have
interpreter experience gained at the Concert agency. There I was accompanying international
artists during their visits to Ukraine and provided consecutive translation.
The biggest project I had there was accompanying the Scorpions band during its
tour in Ukraine to provide interpreter service. - I posses a Bachelor’s degree in English Philology and Linguistics (English) and Master’s degree in International Relations. I also have
experience of using the aviation vocabulary, gained during my studies at the National Aviation University. |
