Bio

As a native speaker of Chinese born in Suzhou China, I have just completed MA Applied Translation Studies at University of Leeds with a focus on the use of CAT tools and have been a student member of CIOL and ITI since Sept 2019. Prior to my MA program, I was a student of English Major in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.

Previosuly, I worked at Sunyu InfoTech, based in Nanjing, China, as a translation technology intern dealing with TM and terminology management. I am interested in technical translation and game translation and would like to explore opportunities in these areas.

I am currently a volunteer translator for Khan Academy Mandarin Translation Team, mainly translating educational, arts and humanities content. Starting from October 1st, I will join World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland and become a Terminology Fellow for three months.
