Background

I have worked in retail for over 5 years, and so am familiar with and very comfortable using the language of marketing and advertising.

I am a keen climber and runner and actively research and read around the topics of those sports, as well as mountaineering and hiking, and so projects concerning these topics are some of my favourite things to translate. During university I completed a 2000-word translation from German into English on the topic of rock climbing, involving technical terms specific to the sport, and scored 80%.

Although not currently a working language, I also completed a 2000-character translation from Japanese on the subject, in which I scored 71%.
