I hold a master's and PhD in translation studies from Australian National University. I have been translating since 1992 and researching translation since 2004. I have translated texts in various fields including design and architecture, economics and development, archaeology, technology, business, history, law, and political science. One of my translated works is the Indonesian translation of Shary Arison's book "Birth: When the Spiritual and the Material Come Together", which was published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama, Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2011. Another language work of mine is the editing of the draft Indonesian translation of "Bandit Saints of Java", a phenomenal book by Professor George Quinn (Australian National University). The translation will be published by Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia, Jakarta. I have translated/edited many draft articles by Indonesian academics prepared for publication at national/international journals. I am a mount hiker. Every translation/editing project is Mount Everest to me. |
