I am a Japanese native
speaker who has lived in Canada since 2017. I have over three years of
experience working as a supervisor for an international company that
communicates between English speaking clients and Japanese customers. This gave
me a chance to use my knowledge of translation and intercultural communication
that I focused on at a Japanese University. As I was working in a fast-paced video game industry, I have experience of translating game-related posts, announcements, in-game terminology and messages to customers from English to Japanese and vise-verse.

Recently, I relocated within Canada
and as a result had to resign from my job. For the foreseeable future, I am
looking for freelance work in translation between English and Japanese. My work
schedule is flexible. I can take on small projects as well as larger ones that
require more involvement and hours.
