I am an American residing in the New York City area. I have a BA degree in Italian with a minor in Cinema from San Francisco State University. I have spent two separate years in Italy. The first year was at the CSU International Center in Florence, Italy. At the CSU campus I graduated from the CSU Italian Grammar Competency program. My second year in Italy was in Pavia (a university town 20 minutes south of Milan). I went to the Universita' di Pavia. I specialized in Italian Literature. Some of my courses were Modern Italian Literature, Italian Literature from the 1200's to 1500's, and Italian Literature from the 1600's to the 1800's. I also helped translate and research Pier Paolo Pasolini for a documentary on the filmmaker. I helped the Italian director, Alessandro Calevro. One of my short films (la pena) was entered into the Bra Short Film Festival.
