Bio

I am currently a 3rd year medical student.

I am bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin), with flluency in reading and writing.

I have experiences proof-reading and editing research papers, thesis papers for undergraduate and graduate students. I am able to to back-translate, review and modify translations with original writer.

I have experience as a consecutive translator in medical, clinical settings. As a medical student, I have translated for patients in office or over the phone - relaying their concerns and questions about medical conditions or procedures. I was able to help the hospitals obtain informed consent of patients for procedures through my translation.

I am capable of transcribing audio to text in English and can type 73 words per minute. If directly copying work, I can type up to 93 words per minute.
