В начале XX века за бывшей городской заставой Царского Села, в местности, называемой «колония Фриденталь», располагался своего рода «Царскосельский Монмартр». Здесь, на правой стороне Московского шоссе, строили свои дачи художники, академики живописи Императорской Академии художеств — К.А. Горбунов, М. В. Харламов, П. П. Чистяков. Таким образом, в этом месте образовался своеобразный культурный центр Царского Села Серебряного века.
На даче художника Чистякова его посещали многочисленные ученики. Павел Петрович Чистяков – важнейшая фигура в истории русского искусства. Художник и педагог, мастер исторической, жанровой и портретной живописи, академик, профессор и действительный член Академии художеств, Чистяков воспитал плеяду блестящих художников, среди них - В. Э. Борисов-Мусатов, Ф. Ф. Бухгольц, В. М. Васнецов, М. А. Врубель, В. Д. Поленов, И. Е. Репин, Н. К. Рерих, А. И. Рябушкин, Н. С. Самокиш, В. А. Серов, В. И. Суриков и другие.
Дом Чистякова, увенчанный сказочной парой флюгеров-петушков – своеобразный образец деревянного зодчества конца XIX века. Вокруг дома разбит живописный сад, такой, чтобы художник и его ученики могли выходить сюда на пленэр. Дом вначале использовался только в летнее время, позже он был утеплён для зимы. Художник жил здесь постоянно. Искусствовед Э.Ф. Голлербах так отзывался о последних годах жизни художника в этом доме: «На Московском шоссе, на веранде большой деревянной дачи, Павел Петрович Чистяков рассыпал за самоваром свои то суровые, то весёлые сентенции». У Павла Петровича постоянно собирались ученики, в усадьбу часто приезжали музыканты и актёры. Шумные музыкальные вечера проходили под аккомпанемент старинного рояля. Сейчас это музей, в коллекции которого находятся подлинные произведения живописи и бытовые предметы Павла Петровича - более 1300 единиц. Наиболее важные работы Чистякова, представленные на экспозиции – «Портрет 10-летней девочки-римлянки (Джованина)», «Дорога в Субиако», «Пейзаж с охотником» и др. В музее проходят литературно-музыкальные вечера, экскурсии, выставки современных художников.
Неподалеку, в доме доктора медицины Эбермана, в 1906 году поселился со своей семьёй знаменитый поэт Серебряного века, учитель Николая Гумилёва, Иннокентий Фёдорович Анненский. Не удивительно, что здесь царила необыкновенная творческая атмосфера!
Интересно, что левая сторона Московского шоссе была заселена потомками немецких колонистов. Основанная ими при императоре Александре I колония «Фриденталь» дала название всей прилегающей местности и добавила нотку уютного немецкого бюргерства в артистическую атмосферу Царскосельского Монмартра.

At the beginning of the 20th century, behind the former city outpost of Tsarskoye Selo (the town of Pushkin), in an area called the "Friedental colony", there was a type of "Tsarskoye Selo Montmartre". Here, on the right side of the Moscow highway, artists, academicians of painting of the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts - K.A. Gorbunov, M.V. Kharlamov, P.P. Chistyakov built their dachas. Thus, a kind of cultural center of Tsarskoe Selo of the Silver Age was formed in this place.
At the dacha of the artist Chistyakov, numerous students visited him. Pavel Petrovich Chistyakov is the most important figure in the history of Russian art. An artist and teacher, master of historical, genre and portrait painting, academician, professor and full member of the Academy of Fine Arts, Chistyakov brought up a pleiad of brilliant artists, among them V.E.Borisov-Musatov, F.F.Bukhgolts, V.M. Vasnetsov, M. A. Vrubel, V. D. Polenov, I. E. Repin, N. Roerich, A. I. Ryabushkin, N. S. Samokish, V. A. Serov, V. I. Surikov and others.
Chistyakov's house, crowned with a fabulous pair of cockerels, is a kind of example of wooden architecture of the late 19th century. A picturesque garden is laid out around the house, so that the artist and his students could come out here in the open air. The house was initially used only in summer, later it was insulated for winter. The artist lived here permanently. Art critic E.F. Hollerbach spoke about the last years of the artist's life in this house: "On the Moscow highway, on the veranda of a large wooden dacha, Pavel Petrovich Chistyakov scattered his sometimes harsh and sometimes cheerful maxims behind the samovar." Pavel Petrovich's pupils constantly gathered, musicians and actors often came to the estate. Noisy musical evenings were accompanied by an old grand piano. Now it is a museum, in the collection of which there are authentic paintings and household items belonging to Pavel Petrovich - more than 1300 items. The most important works of Chistyakov presented at the exhibition are "Portrait of a 10-year-old Roman girl (Giovanina)", "The Road to Subiaco", "Landscape with a Hunter", etc. The museum hosts literary and musical evenings, excursions, exhibitions of contemporary artists.

Saint Petersburg Electrical Engineering University (LETI). In addition, I got
diploma in electrical engineering and hydro acoustics.

I worked as an inventor of touristic thematic routs and organizer of excursions
around Russia both for Russians and foreigners. Working in a publishing house,
I’ve been making translations to English for different editions (Architectural
guide around Saint Petersburg, From Swedish town to Russian Capital). Also now,
I’m a blogger.
