Russian to English: Pharmacy in America General field: Medical
Walmart. Target, HEB.
Translation - English I was surprised by the variety of goods being sold when I came to an American pharmacy for the first time. Not only do pharmacies supply common medications, but also sell office supplies, children’s toys, souvenirs and junk food such as chips and wine. Moreover, you could glance at the medications, read the components on the label, choose what you needed and pay for it at the counter. In other words, all pharmacies operate on a self-service basis. Even though you can buy almost anything you want, but food products are made here at a high markup. So, it is more affordable to buy them in hypermarkets, such as Walmart, Target, HEB.
