I
was born and raised in Venezuela. I lived there until my second year of
college. At that point I made the decision to finish my higher education in
Canada and the USA where I completed degrees in Social Science and Radiology. I
found that my passion for both medicine and languages complimented each other
in ways I didn’t initially recognize. I was able to help individuals and
families alike navigate, at times very difficult situations, by virtue of the
languages I grew up speaking and my medical profession.
Translating
and interpreting have been an integral part of my 28+ years of my career as an
MRI/CT Technologist.
When
I am not working, I enjoy reading & swimming. Swimming is a great way to
incorporate a full body workout and is a skill I can use for a lifetime much
like that of the languages I speak.
