Bio
Hi, thank you for your interest in my services!
I started my career as an English teacher, but it was only a stop on the road to becoming a translator. Teaching is a tough job, and you can learn quite a lot in it that's useful in translation - a way of explaining difficult matters in an easily digestible way with a focus on the target recipient.
I've been a freelancer since May 2007. So far, I've done some interesting projects, had many opportunities to improve my skills and learn new ones, and simply enjoy my job. I'm especially confident in translating mobile apps (UI, help files, FAQs) and websites (social networking, streaming). I enjoy working with words - the whole process of taking into account a lot of information to find the best translation with the target audience in mind. It's a bit of a puzzle at times, and that's what I enjoy.
I do not limit myself only to subject areas I am familiar with, but I'm always eager to learn new things.
