Source text - Nepali The history of this world is the history of redemption, centered around the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, which advances without ceasing for the salvation of the chosen people. God’s plan for the redemption of fallen mankind was predestined before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4; 3:11; 2 Thess 2:13). We have received the promise of the eternal covenant through faith in Jesus Christ (Rom 4:16; Eph 1:13; Heb 6:15; 11:9, 33; see also Acts 10:43; 11:17; 13:39; 15:7–9; Rom 3:22–26; Gal 3:22). God’s ultimate purpose for the covenant is to give the greatest gift—eternal life—to those who have been redeemed from the bondage of death resulting from sin (1 John 2:25).
Translation - Nepali यस संसारको इतिहास नै उद्धारको इतिहास हो, जुन येशु ख्रीष्टको उद्धाराको काम वरपर केन्द्रित छ र चुनिएका मानिसहरूका उद्धारको लागि लगातार अघि बढिरहेको छ। पतित मानिस-जातिको उद्धारको लागि परमेश्वरको योजना संसारको जग बसाल्नु अघि नै पूर्वनिर्धारित थियो (एफि. १:४; ३:११; २ थेस. २:१३)। हामीले येशु ख्रीष्टमा विश्वासद्वारा अनन्तको करारको प्रतिज्ञा पाएका छौँ (रोम. ४:१६; एफि. १:१३; हिब. ६:१५; ११:९, ३३; यिनीहरू पनि हेर्नुहोस्, प्रे. १०:४३; ११:१७; १३:३९; १५:७-९; रोम. ३:२२-२६; गला. ३:२२)। करारको लागि परमेश्वरको अन्तिम उद्देश्य भनेको पापको परिणाम स्वरूप आएको मृत्युको बन्धनबाट छुटकारा दिइएकाहरूलाई सबैभन्दा ठुलो उपहार–अनन्त जीवन दिनु हो (१ यूह. २:२५)।
