I am a Japanese biomedical translator and writer; my specialities are pharmaceuticals, internal medicine, alternative medicine, biotechnology and medical equipment. My field also covers biochemisry and chemistry too; I am very strong at any kinds of chemicals including drugs, environmental chemicals, toxins, food chemicals. I translate both English into Japanese and Japanese into English. As a writer, I do interviewing medical doctors, attending medical conferences to write articles, and analyzing data in medical journals.
I have 13 years of experience in medical translation and editin both in Japan and the US as well as 12 years of research work in the pharmaceutical college in Japan. I graduated from Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Science and got a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences. After finishing research work,I worked for the Japanese Ministry Health and Welfare as a translator for 3 years, and worked for IDOC, a translation agency as a senior editor in LA for 3 years. Then I moved Manhattan, Kansas.
I could not work in the US last 4 years, but I got a greed card last year. Then,I started to work as a freelancer. I am a member of the American Medical Writers Association and finished a core course two years ago.
