Professionally, I have the most experience in teaching English. I've been doing it for the past 14 years. I've taught at regular schools, ESL schools and also private students. I have learned so much teaching! And it's made it possible for me to keep in touch with the English language since I live in Brazil. My journey with the English language began when I was 7 years old and my parents moved us up to Atlanta, Georgia. When we moved back to Brazil, I was 12 and continued my studies. I've also got expertise in a couple of areas that I studied in college, although I never actually graduated. I've studied Architecture, Gastronomy, Law and Medicine. I’m currently majoring in Portuguese-English Language and Literature. When it comes to Spanish, I lived in Argentina for about 3 years, so I’m familiar with the Argentinian variant. I also studied the language before and after moving there. Languages come naturally to me, and I'm fluent and proficient in the three languages I've studied: Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Over the years, I have worked in editing, proofreading, translation, transcription, and interpreting. However, I have never focused my career on these areas. Currently, I am very interested in shifting my focus to them. |
