Languages are something that has always interested me. Being able to understand and access content in a language other than my mother tongue, and in the process, learn about different cultures and connect with people that I might never had the chance to had I not studied a new language, is something truly exciting.

I can speak Portuguese, English, intermediate Spanish, and I'm currently learning French. However, I only offer translation services in English and Portuguese.

I have been studying English since I was around 7 years old. In the IELTS General Training test, I achieved an overall band score of 8.0, with reading and listening being my highest scores. I was born in Brazil and lived there until I was 16 years old, and then moved to Canada, and have been living there for over 9 years.

My degree is in Fundamental Arts. But, I also did 3 years of a Bachelor of Arts, with Spanish being the major. Even though I did not complete the BA at the time, it is something that I am considering finishing in the future.

I'm starting my journey as a translator, and hoping to aid in breaking language barriers by translating content to a language other than the one it was originally written in.
