Bio
I graduated in Civil Engineering but worked as a Petroleum Engineer (company man) on offshore drilling rigs for many years. I'm now transitioning to IT while teaching languages and doing translation jobs. A native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese, I also have certificates at C2 level in English, and at C1 level in French, Spanish, and German. 

Some of the jobs I've done which I take great pride in are the article I translated for the OTC (Offshore Technology Conference) back in 2006 about the Golfinho Oilfied Project, and, more recently, the website of Pro-Shock, a local manufacturer of mountain bike suspensions/forks. 

I have a flair for languages, and great interest in STEM-related topics and also in finance, business, and management.
