I am an experienced translator/interpreter with a genuine love of languages, as demonstrated by my work experience. My work as a translator/interpreter include the translation of the poems of Voltairine de Cleyre in the Life of Voltairine de Cleyre, by Paul Avrich, published in Istanbul in 1998. I also worked in Haringey Community Centre in London as a Turkish translator/interpreter/administrator. I worked in a team of 10 people reporting to the Centre Manager.
In addition, I worked for the Bridge, a translation company based in London, for a brief period, during which I translated a number of articles from Turkish into English and vice versa. Since March 2002 I have been doing translation work for a poetry magazine published in Turkey. My areas of expertise include technical documents (computers) as I studied MSc Computer Studies at the University of Essex, England.
