Source text - English Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on Elm Street. Upon arrival, they found the complainant with visible bruising to her left arm. The defendant was placed under arrest on charges of assault and battery. He was advised of his Miranda rights at the scene and transported to the county jail for booking.
At his arraignment the following morning, the defendant entered a plea of not guilty. The prosecutor requested that bail be set at ten thousand dollars and asked the court to issue a no-contact order protecting the complainant. The judge granted both requests and scheduled a preliminary hearing for the following month.
Defense counsel has filed a motion to suppress evidence obtained during the search of the defendant's vehicle, arguing that the arresting officers lacked probable cause. The motion is currently pending before the court.

Se le indicaron sus derechos constitucionales en el lugar de los hechos y fue trasladado a la cárcel del condado para el registro de su arresto.
