I am an Amsterdam and Oxford educated bi-lingual translator, specialising in social sciences, politics & government, current events, business, and law. Fluent in both English and Dutch, I am also proficient in German, French, Russian, and Hungarian.
In recent years I have translated such diverse texts as handwritten early 19th Century diplomatic documents, and manuals for digital cameras. Among the many various translations I have produced are books by the French philosopher Jean Baudrillard, and Roger Scruton, an English writer on politics, history, and philosophy. At present I am working on a translation into Dutch of 'Reflections on the Revolution in France' by the 18th Century British politician, lawyer and writer Edmund Burke.
