My foundation is conventional linguistic craft: tight register control, accurate terminology, idiomatic Lithuanian that doesn’t read as a translation, and the cultural fluency that takes a lifetime in the language to acquire. Agencies and direct clients hire me for that first. Everything else is a bonus.

The bonus is AI fluency. I hold an Informatics degree from Klaipėda University and, after twenty years applying that systems-thinking foundation through language work, I’ve spent the last two designing and shipping AI-augmented linguistic workflows. I’m the founder of AI-DI (ai-di.lt), a Lithuanian AI consultancy. Recent paid work includes a project for Duco Experts, a San Francisco-based advisory firm, on behalf of a major US technology company: I designed and ran a multi-tool AI pipeline to review and augment a Lithuanian harmful-keyword blocklist for content safety. I’ve also published methodology — a 3-Layer Execution Framework, four production-tested Cowork workflows, and a four-skill Lithuanian linguist pipeline used to ship around thirty long-form analytical articles on AI adoption.

What that means for you: I’m a translator who actually understands the AI tools the industry keeps talking about, and who can tell hype apart from a useful workflow. I post-edit machine output without resentment, run linguistic QA on training data with a clear methodology, and, when a brief calls for it, can design the workflow itself.
