I specialise in financial and business translations. This encompasses, for example, annual and interim reports; equity, currency and bond market reviews; fund performance analyses; product descriptions; marketing initiatives; credit analyses and press releases.
I worked for 15 years for a major German bank, joining it a couple of years after graduating in French and German. I was mainly employed at its UK branch but also at its head office in Germany. My banking roles included lending and banking services management, credit analysis and project management for risk software. A UK foreign branch is a great place to learn the business of banking because you get involved across the entire chain. After leaving my banking career, I joined a specialist financial translation company and have since gained a diploma in translation from the Insitute of Linguists.
