Bio

I offer native US English proofreading services to translators. I can take texts on any subject that have been translated into English and make them appear to be original US English texts.

I am a US resident whose education is in English, though I am somewhat familiar with British grammar and style. I have an eye for "what makes sense" in both written and spoken English, and I enjoy using that skill to review and improve communication. I also understand the importance of clear and correct language. Clarity and ease-of-use is mandatory in the legal contracts and procedures I currently create and maintain. I am also an exceptionally quick and efficient worker, with a rapid turnaround time.

I charge the standard rate of $30 US for proofreading, which is negotiable. Please be aware that I am a quick, efficient worker and can cover more ground in one hour than you'll get with many others' quoted rates.
