I have translated technical, medical and patent subjects since 1973. I was also a medical researcher for 20+ years and worked as an editor for Japanese authors who published in English-language research and medical journals. My Ph.D. is in Anatomy and Cellular Biology and I taught Anatomy and Neuroanatomy as a graduate student, post-graduate and member of the faculty at Harvard Medical School. I also have published several papers in my specialty field of neuroanatomy.
