Worked with French engineering companies in India for 5 years during which I gained proficiency in technical translation by virtue of working on project sites. Worked with Air France, Mumbai, for 27 years in financial and commercial fields till retirement. Having interfaced between the Indian market and French head office and having attended several trainings in France, I gained in-depth knowledge not only in the subjects concerned but also in linguistic skills. Presently I am on the panel of accredited translators for Alliance Française, Hyderabad, for translating official documents besides doing freelance translation for corporate bodies including IT majors.
