I specialize in German to English translations in medicine, pharmaceuticals, and the biomedical sciences.
Recent projects include translations of cGMP protocols for major pharmaceutical firms, medical textbooks, clinical study reports, patient discharge summaries and instruction manuals for endoscopy equipment, among others.
I am an American physician (surgical resident) living and working in Germany. I completed my medical studies at the Hanover Medical School in Hanover, Germany. Additionally, I was employed in the pharmaceutical industry while pursuing my B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Alabama, and therefore have extensive experience with cGMP documentation, equipment, and procedures.
I have studied German at the Goethe Institut in Germany, completing the Deutsche Mittelstufenprüfung in 1999, as well as at the Universität Hannover, successfully passing the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer BewerberInnen in 2000. Since that time, I have been living and studying in Germany. Additionally, I have been employed as an English instructor at the Wall Street Institute since October of 2003, where I teach English to German students of all levels, ranging from novice to mastery.
